Eric had another good day yesterday. They put him in a wheelchair for about 2 hours. Then he was wore out. Eric ate a chef salad with ranch dressing, then last night he had pizza and bread sticks. He has lost a lot of muscle tone and weight. He is still at Methodist but the lung looks good. We are all hoping that Thursday he will be moved to rehab on the west side of Indianapolis. Eric complained about some chest pain last night before everyone left, but he had a busy day.

  5. Eric,
My little boy Jerry (7) is a student at La Ville Elementary. When he heard about your accident he was very adamant that he get a t-shirt! He got it today and has placed it out to wear tomorrow.
Tonight he motioned to me to look up your web site that is listed on the shirt. He is very interested in you and is hoping you get well very soon. Jerry has some challenges of his own so I think that is why your story has him interested in you. We will keep you in our prayers and continue to follow your progress! Best of Luck,

  20. Just got off phone with Irish. He was sooooo excited that Eric Sat up for 5 hours today. He was more grateful for that one life changing moment that I've ever heard him speak about any race win. I cryed in the fact that we take so many things for granted hearing the excitment in Irishes voice reminded me of every goal in life our children take to become more independent. Hmmmmmm funny how the smallest task in life become the most precious moments of our lives. God keeps placing people in Eric's familys lives that are making a huge impact in there lives. You followers of this blog are the BEST. You blow Eric's mind at how much you care. HIS SPIRITS ARE UP AND HE'S READY FOR THIS NEW CHAPTER OF LIFE. YOU GOT THIS ERIC GO GO GO!!!1
